  • Terms & Conditions

Your voluntary participation in the Gradvocates Affiliate Program will begin upon the receipt and acceptance of your Affiliate Application with all required information provided and will end when terminated by either party. Either you or Gradvocates may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by giving the other party notice via email of the termination. You are only eligible to earn referral fees on sales occurring during the term. Be aware that Gradvocates may temporarily or indefinitely suspend the referral program at any time without prior notice.

You will receive a 20% commission on the actual purchase price of an order after all discounts have been applied to all eligible items purchased at the time the order is placed. Commissions will only apply to items which are designated as "affiliate eligible" products and services. Reedits, subsequent counseling, additional services, partner products, and any products or services deemed ineligible will not be eligible for affiliate referral commission. Referral codes may only be used once per customer. Affiliate Eligible products are those products and services deemed Affiliate Eligible by Gradvocates and may change without notice at any time.

For a sale to generate a commission to an Affiliate, the customer must complete the order form, submit an eligible referral code at the time of the order, and remit full payment for the products and services ordered. Any returns or refunds will negate any commissions earned on those sales. Gradvocates does not support Second Tier Affiliates. Affiliate commissions will only be paid on sales which are made through qualified Affiliates in good standing. Affiliates must be in good standing and have an active email address on which they can receive electronic payment via either PayPal or Amazon Gift Card based upon the method chosen when first registering for an Affiliate referral code. It is not the responsibility of Gradvocates to maintain updated email addresses of Affiliates. If Affiliates do not provide the proper email address or submit an invalid or incorrect email address to receive payment, the Affiliate is solely responsible for informing Gradvocates via email. Any lost referral commissions or payments due to Affiliate error will be forfeited by the Affiliate. For email address updates and changes, changes to payment method, questions/comments, and special first-time referral code changes prior to use, email Gradvocates at

When first registering for your referral code, you will be providing an email address at which you accept to receive electronic payments from Gradvocates for all commission and referral revenue earned by you. You have the choice to receive payments electronically via Amazon Gift Card or PayPal. If you choose PayPal as your preferred payment method, you will receive your commission less any standard transfer/transaction fees charged by PayPal. Changes to your preferred payment method must be made at least one week prior to your scheduled payout. Contact to make changes to your payment method option or if you have any further questions as to how Gradvocates handles your commission payments.

    Payment Schedule

Whenever a customer makes a purchase using an Affiliates referral code, there is at least a one month lead time before the Affiliate will be sent the commission payment. The date of the commission payment to the Affiliate will be one month from the end of the month in which the qualified purchase and document submissions are made. For example, if Joni uses Erics referral code to purchase a personal statement and resume on the June 15, 2011, submits the documents the same day, and does not make a return or receive a refund, Eric will be sent his 20% commission payment electronically via PayPal or Amazon Gift Card on July 31, 2011. In another example, if Bill uses Ricks referral code to purchase a letter of continued interest, diversity statement, and personal statement on August 1, 2011, submits the documents the same day, and does not make a return or receive a refund, Rick will be sent his 20% commission payment on September 30, 2011. Finally, if Susan uses Alices referral code to purchase three personal statements, a scholarship essay, and a resume on October 31, 2011, submits the documents the same day, and does not make a return or receive a refund, Alice will be sent her 20% commission payment on November 30, 2011. Commissions will not be paid out to Affiliates until all documents in a referral order are submitted and completed. If there is an indefinite delay to the submission of any or all documents in a discounted referral code order, the payment of any and all commissions associated with that order will be delayed indefinitely.

The Gradvocates Affiliate Program will be solely responsible for processing every order placed by a customer on the Gradvocates site. Affiliates may only register for one referral code. The use of multiple affiliate program accounts and/or referral codes will result in immediate termination of your affiliate privileges as well as any present or future commissions yet to be paid. If it is discovered that you made use of unauthorized techniques to market and distribute your referral code, including unsolicited SPAMMING via email or by posting of your referral code on websites or forums, by using multiple referral codes/affiliate program accounts, or any method deemed unethical or unauthorized by Gradvocates, any commissions earned may be revoked and forfeited.

    Modification of Terms

Gradvocates retains the right to modify any of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement at any time by posting a new terms agreement on the Gradvocates website. Modifications may include changes in referral/commission rates and percentages, the scope of available referral fees, fee schedules, program rules and payment procedures. If at any time, a modification made to this agreement is not satisfactory to you, then your only recourse is to terminate your participation in the affiliate program. You accept that by continuing to participate in the affiliate program, you accept any changes and updates to revised agreements posted on the Gradvocates website.
